MOJ Technologies was founded in 2023 by Muelekanyi Oscar Joseph, a young visionary from Tshisahulu Village in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, South Africa. Oscar’s passion for technology began at the age of 15, when he started designing church posters using his uncle’s mobile phone. His creativity and curiosity soon led him to explore web design and he created his very first website using Wix— an experience that sparked his aspiration to build a career in the digital world.

To build a strong technical foundation, Oscar studied Information Communication Technology in Business Analysis, gaining a deeper understanding of systems, processes, and digital innovation. He further advanced his skills by taking numerous free online courses, focusing on web development, digital tools, business systems, and analytics.

From 2023, before formally establishing MOJ Technologies, Oscar worked as a freelancer, building websites, assisting small businesses, and delivering technology services to various clients. Through freelancing, he completed multiple projects, strengthened his expertise, and built a strong portfolio that laid the groundwork for the future company.

As his skills and vision expanded, Oscar officially launched MOJ Technologies on 12th February 2026 in Silverton, Pretoria. This launch marked a major milestone—transforming his childhood passion and freelancing experience into a fully established technology company.

From humble beginnings in a rural village to a launched technology brand in Pretoria, the history of MOJ Technologies reflects dedication, self-learning, resilience, and a passion for empowering people through technology. Under Oscar’s leadership, the company continues to grow, innovate, and expand its impact across South Africa.
